Of the health tourism or the crush on traditional Indian forms of the meditation, the massage or remedial methods win in today’s India more and more in meaning. The country of origin of the yoga and the Ayurveda irritates many tourists to get to know these cultural forms of the wellness treatments once in their original form and to be allowed to experience.
Yoga
Yoga calls a form of the Indian philosophy; this can be exercised in spiritual form by for example meditation as well as in physical form like exercises; but also breathing exercises and asceticism are forms of the yoga. The origins of the yoga go back till the time about approx. 700 B.C. in which one already knew the first forms of the meditation and breathing exercises. The original attempts of the yoga are marked very strongly by the religions (Hinduism and Buddhism), because yoga was valid as a meditative way to the enlightenment.
Today the aim of the yoga is a body and mind in harmony to bring so in harmony as well as to strengthen the body and to mobilise. In European yoga schools the main focuses can lie partially also differently, depending on which kind of the yoga is taught and which aims (dismantling are aimed by stress, balance, health training, etc.) for the participant.
Ayurveda
Ayurveda is a traditional form of Indian remedial art. If one translates the concept “Ayurveda” he means “life science” and exactly this principle it also represents. Ayurveda looks at the person as a whole and is designed to furnish the life in such a way that being off sick environmental factors are switched off; for example, stress or injurious eating habits belong to it. Furthermore has to go, after Ayurvedic view, are created about that clarity which Doshas (temperaments, energy) a person own. Traditional proofs are distinguished here three: Vata, Pitta and Kapha.
However, problematically the taking of Indian Ayurveda to drugs has become during the last years, because these drugs yet are not submitted to enough strict controls and can show, hence, pollutions by for example treacly metals which can lead, perhaps, to poisoning and other strong side effects.
